We are flying this weekend to visit DH's parents. The slight is short (90 minutes) and is direct. DS is in his own seat in the car seat, and I hope that DS will nap for a little while. If he doesn't, what might I take to entertain him? Has anyone been successful in this area with this age group? TIA!
Re: Entertaining a 19mo old on a plane?
for that short of a flight, I would just make sure to have a couple fave. toys, books, and some snacks that take a while to eat. Then just walk around when you can. It'll be easy.. 30 mins up, 30 to walk around, 30 down.
I haven't been on a flight w/ a 19mo, but I've been on plenty of long and short flights w/ DD and the 1-2 hour ones are definitely a piece of cake

We intentionally fly Frontier because they have TV's in the head rest.
We don't watch much TV at home so he's mezmerized by it on the plane.
A portable DVD player would be my first recommendation.
But... if that's not an option pack plenty of books. ?A wipe off board or magna doodle would be a good idea too.
And... SNACKS!!!
