When you go to Dairy Queen....

why in the heck would you ask for the calorie content?! Its dairy queen.....kind of assumed that you don't go there for your dietary needs! She ended up asking the poor girl behind the counter for the district managers phone number to get a detailed sheet of calories and nutrition info......

 

I just wanted a small mint oreo blizzard......not a lesson in calorie content.

    Lol... I love dairy queen and last summer the cashier told me their ice cream is 99% fat free.  So REALLY its not all that bad for you.

     Wow! I had no idea, thats actually pretty good news! Better to assume its fattening full o' calories, then get told the 99% fat free..... :) Great excuse in July when I'm 8 months pregnant! haha!

    And I'm with the pp - it'll make my summer-long (almost) 3rd trimester more pleasurable. :)?

    I gave up ice cream for Lent and now of course I just want to ?go to Dairy Queen or Baskin and Robbins and pig out!?

    I hate you all.. we don't have a DQ up here anymore.. or a Sonic (which I've been craving for 2.5 YEARS!!!!) I miss the south. Sad

    I don't go to Dairy Queen. Last year they had this vegan star popsicle thing advertised online, so we went in our local store to ask if they had them. We didn't know exactly what it was called and there were no signs for it, so we described it as a vegan star popsicle thing, dairy free. The manager looked at us like we were mentally challenged and said "this is Dairy Queen, everything we sell is dairy". I was so tempted to ask him which part of the hot dogs, soda, and chili were made of milk. Douche.?
