bedresters - when is the last time you had a haircut?

just curious if i'm the only one with a complete lack of upkeep in the hair dept... i honestly am not even sure if i've gone since being pg, i don't think i have... and now that i'm on BR i really can't go, at least not at this point. my hair is getting so long and unruly, lol

anyone else?

This bothered me for so long. After one of my doc appts that went well, I asked if my mom (who drove me to my appt) could take me to get my haircut on the way home. I was already out, and its just sitting in a chair. My doc said yes!!! It was the greatest haircut of my life. You might want to check next time you have a good report Smile

Oh I am dying for one. I had to cut some of it myself because I couldn't take it anymore. I was supposed to have an appt on Jan 3 and had to cancel because I was still in the hospital so I am about 9 weeks overdue. Thank god I have an appt on Wednesday.

I haven't had a haircut since June and I think one side is longer than the other! I also hate my natural color (haven't colored it since we started TTC except for temp color in April). I feel so blah, but it's not like I ever see anyone! Haha.

I haven't been since January and was planning on going this month but that's not happening. I need highlights and a cut something bad.

I'm also wishing I could get a pedicure and a bikini wax. Oh well anything to get my little boy to stay inside.

I had one in mid-December and thankfully got rid of my highlights and went back to my natural color. Otherwise I'd be sporting some pretty roots this whole time!

I just had a haircut yesterday for the first time since then. Like j&jp said, maybe your doc will ok a trip on the way home from an appt! It's one of those "save your sanity" type trips that some doctors are ok with as long as you're doing well enough.

Omigosh it was right before Christmas. I went in for a cut and highlights. I knew that it was going to probably be the last time before some type of bed rest so I went in for the big shabang. The one thing I really miss are my manicures and pedicures. I pretty much got ready for my last one around that same time, but I'm having a harder time adjusting to that. It's kinda hard to do your toe nails when you can't even touch your toes.

I haven't done anything to my hair since August. It needs serious help. I probably won't be able to have anything done to it until that baby is born. I honestly didn't know what my natural color was until now!

my last haircut & highlights were just after Thanksgiving. I was already overdue for highlights when I was put on bedrest in the middle of January. Now, it's ridiculous how horrible my roots are- I just throw my hair back in a pony tail everyday.

When (and if) my dr says I can get off bedrest, my hair girl is the first stop I'm making!

November was the last time I got my hair cut and highlighted. The highlights didn't take so well though. I have major roots going on. Now that I am on bedrest I am tempted to get both haircut and highlights but a friend told me she had better highlighting results just after she delivered. So I think I am just gonna wait.

I had been in the hospital for 3 weeks when my local nest board arranged with my husband to have my hairdress (who is also a nestie) show up in myhospital room and surprise me with a cut and color.

I have never every been so happy with a haircut in my life. It was the single greatest moment of my pregnancy, and the nicest thing anyone could have done.

From that point on, my goal is to send someone to do the hair of anyone I know stuck in the hospital.

I think I went last on new year's eve. I really want to get a haircut before the babies are born. Last week my OB said I am allowed to go out to dinner as long as I don't have to stand and wait or anything like that. So maybe I'll see how I feel next week and splurge on the haircut.

i'm glad to know i'm not the only one with skanky hair right now i will def ask my OB if i can sneak out to get a cut at some point... if i make it to 36w i think i get off BR, and i will def be going to get one at that point - like when am i going to have time once the babies are here right??

I went about a week before Christmas. ?I was put on bedrest two weeks ago today and I had an appointment scheduled for that same Wednesday. ?I really regret procrastinating and not getting it done weeks before. ?My ends are all split and look really awful. ?The only thing I can be thankful for is going back to my natural color in August so at least I don't have roots on top of my skanky split ends! ?I tried talking my hair dresser whom I have been going to faithfully for over 2 years, not to mention I have followed him to 3 salons over the 2 years to make a trip up to my house to cut my hair. He said it shouldn't be a problem and he would call me back 2 or 3 days later and I am yet to hear from him. ?I will be looking for someone else to do my hair for sure now just because of this. ?If he didn't want to do it he should have said up front. Vent over!

Daisy22 ... about that pedicure: You should call your local spa/salon and see if they won't do a home visit for you. Ours doesn't, but DH wanted to surprise me for by b-day, so he asked around and they found a girl that was willing to come to my house.

i had my haircut in december..i'm going to check with my mfm today if my hairdresser comes to my house if i can sit up for 20 minutes to cut my hair...it's really getting long.
