PIP: I finally told my students!

17 weeks isn't that late but I've been showing for a while so it felt like a long time to keep it from them.

I told them during a game of hangman. The best responses were:

"OMG! Does your husband know?"

"I thought you had just been eating a lot of food!"

"I've been looking at your stomach but I just didn't want to say anything."

awe! I love kids! I wanted to be a teacher but decided to go into the medical field instead. Ohhhh what was I thinking!!

YAY!!! I told my coworkers, and haven't HID it from my students, but I haven't TOLD them yet either. I teach a variety of students in K-5....and two of the my students have parents who also teach here. I guess they haven't said anything to their kids - just waiting til I "announce" it. I think I will either the end of this week, or beginning of next, especially since more and more teachers come up to me and ask me questions right in front of the kids (like I said, I don't mind...just figure I should clear the air!)

That's a really cute idea to tell your students. I'm curious as to what my students are going to say. I teach kinder and boy do they say some funny things!
