Love song totally has different meaning now

I heard Aerosmith's Don't Want To Miss A Thing today and the words suddenly have such a different meaning.  It's not only a sweet love song to my dh, but I cried thinking of my son.  It's totally how I feel about him (except for the not wanting to sleep!) 

No one warned me how being a mom would make me such a sap!

    Haha! I heard this the other day and teared up...my fiance was making fun of me. I was wearing sunglasses bu the still could tell that i was starting to cry...lol

    Same here.  All I have to do is hear the opening music and the tears start rolling.  By the time it gets to the end and he says "And just watching her, it breaks his heart, cause he already knows ..." I am in full-on WAHHHH mode.  I'm 4.5 months out, but I still blame it on the hormones!!

    I've noticed this with a lot of songs that are intended to be love songs.  I now relate them to DD, and they make me cry!  When I was pregnant with DD, I listened to Van Morrison a lot in the car - I love the song Crazy Love.  Now when I listen to it, it has different meaning.  And I swear DD recognizes it...she gets calm when it's on.

    "My Wish" by Rascall Flatts gets me crying pretty hard.  I've always thought it was such a sweet song but even sweeter now that I think of DD when I hear it.
