Gladys Knight Chicken and Waffles

Has anyone ever been to one?? They just opened one up not to far from my office and we are having an office lunch there next week for one of the girls Birthdays...I have been dying to go to a "chicken and waffles" place ever since I moved to Georgia..something about seeing them in movies intrigues me. However, I am guessing I will need to starve all day and bring some Tums and Milk of Mag with me.

    I haven't either...sounds interesting...something with the saltiness of the chicken and sweetness of syrup makes it sound good!!

    I've heard of it on TV/movies but never been.  I'd love to try but I know DH would make fun of me.  Oh and I can 100% say there is nowhere in Scotland that does chicken and waffles :)

    I have no idea what it is!! I have seen it in a ton of movies but never been to one.  I do know they sell fried chicken and waffles..Along with many other things like mac n cheese, greens, black eyed peas etc.
