You know whay I hate?

Fake implantation dips.  I'm 6 DPO today & my temp plummeted; since my LPs are usually 13-14 days I know it will go back up tomorrow.  In the 8 cycles we've been TTC this is the 3rd or 4th one.  I have absolutely no phantom symptoms either.  Who else's body does this?  I know I can't be alone.

    I think it's caused by a secondary estrogen surge -- I get a dip, too.  If I remember right it's very common.

    Yeah, a few of my charts when I first started temping did that. :) ?I think actual implantation dips are just a myth to give us false hope.

    I can only imagine the torment!  I hate ovulation fake outs!  I would drive myself crazy in the 2ww

    I should have phrased my response differently....  I'm sure yours is an implantation dip!  Just because mine aren't, doesn't mean anything for anyone else Smile

    Being @ this for 8 months has turned me into a Negative Nelly.  I know there are women on here who have been trying for YEARS; I don't know how they don't go bat_shit crazy.  I'm the perfect example of how just because you've got the planet's most regular 27 day cycle with a 13 or 14 day LP it doesn't mean you'll get pregnant any easier. Crying

    I try not to overanalyze temps in the 2ww, but what can ya do...

    You're not alone. It can be soo frustrating.

    It's easier to let the time go by if I don't temp or come on GP. On the other had, there's nobody to vent to.
