A really messy meconium one, but no wet ones. I'm feeding her every two hours, and waking her up to make sure she eats. Does this mean she's not getting enough?
Sometimes the diapers work too well and you can't tell they're wet when they actually are. ?Have you tried putting a tissue in it to see if that gets wet?
ditto the pp who said sometimes you can't tell if they are wet. in the beginning, i would hold the used diaper in one hand and a clean one in the other and compare the weights. fwiw, there are other signs of dehydration besides not peeing. some are: dry mouth (inside, not dry lips), sunken in soft spots, skin elasticity (gently pinch your child's skin on their abdomen, hold it for a few seconds and then let it go to see how long it takes to return to the normal position), crystals in the diaper.
if you are worried, call your dr. but i freaked out about this a ton after about four days and he was fine.
Re: She's only had one dirty diaper today
I agree w/the previous poster.
I want to say Congrats! Sadie is beautiful. How are you doing?
