Swim diapers - disposable or reusable

We start swim lessons in two weeks.  Can anyone tell me about their experiences with either disposable or reusable swim diapers?  I can't find the disposable ones in the stores around here and I am not sure about ordering on line.  If you used reusable, please recommend your brand/kind.

  • I use the Motherease swim diaper.  Its reusable.  www.motherease.com

I works great, it looks like a little speedo, so its also super cute.

i have two of these and they're great quality and super cute.  really fast shipping too.  i paid her on thursday and had my diaper on Saturday.

  • I had the speedo brand baby diaper from Target. It sucks, don't buy it. I also had 2 iplay swim diapers and they worked wonderfully!

  • I got a reusable from target too, not the speedo brand, I think it was Wee Wave. It works OK. For swimming lessons I put him in that, plus a swimsuit (also from target) that had a swim diaper inside it, because I'm a little paranoid.
  • I ordered a little tankini for dd from myswimbaby.com.  It's super cute and the bottom is a swim diaper.  It works really well, and I thought the price was really reasonable (under 20 bucks and I think I had a promo for free shipping).   I don't know if you have a boy or girl, but for the boys they have "trunk style" suits with the built in diaper too.   Definitely worth checking out.  Good luck and have fun swimming!  :)
