Jumperoo or Exersaucer?

And what the heck is the difference?  They both look kinda the same to me!

Re: Jumperoo or Exersaucer?

  • I have always been a exersaucer girl but I love my jumperoo. Joey Jumps like crazy.  It is so much fun it serves the purpose of jumping and the fun of the exercauser. We have the FP jumperoo and LOVE IT.

  • The exersaucer is stationary for the most part and the jumperoo can go up and down when the kid jumps.

We also have the FP Rainforest Jumperoo and P loved it!

  • We had the Baby Einstein jumperoo or whatever it was called. And Jack absolutely loved it.

  • This is one of those items where if you have the space, get both.  If you only have room for one, get the Jumperoo.  We have both, and use them both regularly.
  •

lexi didnt really care for the exersaucer and we got Orion the jumperoo too late. :(

  • We have both (got them used on CL) and E much prefers the exersaucer.  It can entertain him for a good 10 minutes at a time - a very long stretch for him - whereas he wants out of the jumper after a couple of minutes.  Maybe it's too stimulating to be bouncing for so long?  He loves it when he's in it, but it gets old fast.
  • I've had both. In fact, I'm selling the FP Rainforest Jumperoo on Craiglist now for way less than it is new. DD loved both and she's just too big now for them. If you have room, I would get both. Craigslist is a great place to get them.
  • We had the jumeroo in the kitchen, A loved it and was super happy in there.

I also had an exersaucer, and loved it cause it was more portable than the jumperoo.  I brought it to my mom's for the weekend, put it in the bathroom while I showered (this replaced the bouncy seat for me), etc.

I thought it was ridiculous to have both but I'll use them both again next time around...
