DD just got invited to a princess party

where do I find her a "costume?" I think it's just supposed to be a fun dress up party for little girls.I don't want to go to too much trouble since she's only 6 months, and won't really enjoy it.

What would you put your little girl in?? I only have a week, so I probably can't order something..

    Honestly, I am from California and not Texas so my views differ.  However my DD comes in a cute existing dress and offers a fabulous gift.

    My view is the party will be long forgotten but the gift and thought behind the attendance will last.

    Put her in a tutu and a t shirt and call it a day.  You can get tutu's at Target or a dance store and she can use it to play dress up later on.

    What she said. I'd probably take a plain white onesie, use puffy paint to draw a crown on the front, and slap a pink tutu on her. Instant princess.

    Claire's sells little princess/ballerina costumes and tu tus, we bought DD a little pink princess costume for a portrait shoot.  We had to shorten the straps because it's meant for a toddler but the rest of it was really stretchy so it can fit a pretty big size range.  I think it was $10 or so?
