Boston Babies

Which Fertility Clinic???

I have no idea what to choose:

RSC: recommended to me by Mt Auburn where I've gotten initial bloodwork done. Great reputation, mildly inconvenient.

Boston IVF: preferred by my PCP, who matters b/c of my HMO but hasn't seen me for anything related to my ill-fated pg a year ago or anything since. Great rep, somewhat more convenient. Like they have the whole mind/body center they have.

MGH: Most convienant of the bunch.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Which Fertility Clinic???

  • I hear things about each that are good and bad.. Everyone has different opinions.. My OBGYN recommended RSC and I have an appointment on Thrusday.. I am seeing Dr.Glatstein.. My DH's aunt aslo works in  A hospital in Ma and she asked around and they recommended him as well.. So that made me feel good that a few different said his name..GL

  • I saw doctors at both RSC and Boston IVF and chose to go with BIVF even though RSC was more convienent. Both have great reputations but the BIVF doctor (Brian Berger) came highly recomended and I felt more comfortable with him and his plan. So far I love Boston IVF. I have also heard great things about MGH but no experience.

Good luck Thursday. I saw him and he asked me why I was there...kind of threw me off. He has great success rates though.

  • I saw Dr Glatstein at RSC myself and he is wonderful.  A friend of mine also was seen by him and is currently 14 weeks pregnant.  I do not have experience with the other clinics though.
  • I am set to see Dr. Huang on March 12. I've heard good things about her so we'll just see how it goes! Two more weeks..

  • I went to Boston IVF at first, but it felt like a factory to me, so I switched to RSC where a friend had had success and I loved it and it was successful within two cycles for me.  I saw Dr. Kowalik.  She's fantastic, as is the nursing team.
  • I recommend Boston IVF.  My doctor was Brian Berger, the nurses and staff are fabulous and very responsive.  It was a long journey, but I'm 4 1/2 months preganant at 45 years old.
