weird desire

DH wants me to cease BFing in public when DD turns 1, so now I have this voice in the back of my head telling me to go to all these different public places and BF one last time.  I'll probaly still do it when I'm not with him, so not a big deal.  I've never had anyone say anything negative about me BFing in public, have any of you after your LO turned a year or older?

    Sorry, I have no idea what happened and why my partial reply posted several times.

    I don't understand his request. It isn't like someone call tell exactly how old a baby is, especially when they just see the back of their head while they're nursing.

    At the same time I don't understand the desire to NIP at certain places "one last time" if you do decide to stop NIP after 1 yr.

    I stopped NIP when DD was around 18 months.  It just got more hard to do discreetly, and she was able to wait until we got home most of the time.  That, or she would be satisfied with cow's milk instead.  No one ever said anything to me, and she's pretty big for her age.  It probably looked like I was nursing a 2 1/2 yo.  :)
