Part time Daycares in NKY?

Hey ladies, I was wondering if any of you know of any daycares or have any recommendations for me in NKY. I am looking for part time for DS and the baby and we have plenty of time so wait lists aren't a problem. I have looked into Abby's and they are outright EXPENSIVE!!! I am still considering Redwood but I need 3 days and I need some flexibility if possibly and they aren't flexible. I just can't see spending $330/week for full time for 2 kids and that is the cheapest I have found. Thanks for any suggestions. I would be fine with churches and stuff also.

I know, it's frustrating when you only need part-time care with varying days, we're in the same situation and were really lucky to find our center that works with us on it.....but I will say that $330/week for an infant and toddler full-time really isn't bad! That's definitely on the lower end of what I found when we were looking around here.

I just hate to go from $100/week (one kid in-home) to $330/week but if I have to work more then I will.

Oh, I completely understand - It's quite the shock to the budget! I joke that we could rent our kids a deluxe apartment for what we pay in daycare costs per month :-)

Alison, that is sooooo true!! Also, I have not forgotten about you. I think we might take you up on the offer to borrow your crib when you are finished using it with DD. I really am afraid to move my climbing and into everything child into a toddler bed at 18 months. I am in no hurry to get it since the baby will sleep in our room in a pack n play for the first 3 months or so most likely anyway. Thanks for offering that. It is a BIG help!!!!

OK - I will touch base with you when we get Piper out of her crib, it will probably be sometime in the next 3-4 months. If you change your mind beforehand and find another arrangement can you just let me know though, I have another friend who might want to borrow the crib (you get first dibs though because I offered it to you first!)

I will definitely let you know :-) I will talk to DH about it to clarify but I think that is what we want to do. I can't see him being in a toddler or big bed at 18mths because he is into EVERYTHING! Thanks again!!

pretty sure that the Goddard School also take PT kids. They have a location in Edgewood near St. E.

We pretty much decided that if we end up doing day care (PT) we are going to use Abby's.
