Mommy and Baby Playdate

Hi! I'm Kate and my daughter Audrey is 9 months old. We live in Richfield and love getting together with other moms and babies who live nearby. I organize a birth to two mom's group that gets together weekly for baby storytimes, playdates, coffee, etc.

We have an event called Mommy and Me Mondays where we gather together at a Minneapolis area church on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month (during cold weather) for a casual playdate, craft and/or topics discussion. A few toys will be provided for the kids, and refreshments available for the moms. The cost to attend is $3 per mom and goes to pay for the room rental fee.

    Do any nannies go?  I'm looking for a group for my nanny and 10 month old.  Both are really fun :-)  Thanks!

      My name is Nikki and I also have a 5 month old named Audree.  We also live in Richfield.  I work full time during the day and was wondering if you do any gatherings on the weekends.  I am trying to find a mom's group but has to be on the weekends or in the eve.

    Hey Nikki - just seeing your reply, sorry! We have Solo Events that are on the weekends that members can go to with their whole family, but it's not a formal get-together. I'm also working to start a monthly all-family event like a park picnic, pool day, etc. But if you'd be willing to 'host' something on the weekends or at night, we'd love to have you join and I will add any ideas you have to the calendar.

    Hi Tara -- sorry I'm just now getting back to you! Nannies are welcome to come with the little ones as long as the mom is the one 'joining' and rsvp'ing for events. Just put a note on your profile saying you won't be able to come but you're sending so-and-so in your place! We'd love to have another little baby join us!
