You know...the babycook thing? Its supposively the best babyfood maker ever - all the rage in Europe. Has anyone used this product before? Or do any of you plan on using it when your little one gets to this stage? I just think it looks really cool and sort of fun. I found it on Williams Sonoma for $149.95, but I bet you could get it on Amazon for cheaper.
Check it out and tell me what you think!

Re: Who has heard of the Beaba?
received it as a gift from my MIL and GMIL...haven't used it yet, but must say was really excited for it.
we joined a community supported agriculture farm last summer (and again this year) so we have tons of veggies in the house, but limited time...so am hoping that this will help make babyfood...something that my mom did for my siblings and me and I am hoping to do for our kids (at least DS upon his arrival)

The beaba is really cute, but I think it's a waste of money. You'd be better off spending the money on a really good food processor that you can use for more than just baby food. The food processor part of the beaba is really small, and you could get a larger capacity food processor for the same amount of money. I have a Cuisinart, and I love it. You can also use a blender, if you have one.
EDIT: Also, I think the reason why it's so popular in Europe is because it is WAAAAYYY cheaper there.
I gotcha
Thanks girls!
I'll just buy a food processor then I think - Sounds easy enough!
It's actually not all that much cheaper over here...but, it is really tiny and for those of us living in tiny European apartments, it's probably pretty easy to store. Not sure if that's part of the appeal or not...?
