They sell it here at Costco, in a bottle with real cane sugar, no High Fructose Corn Syrup. I'm curious if I should worry about caffeine content though - anyone know if it's the same?
I'm pretty sure it's the same. Everything else seems to be. Anyway, I've been drinking it.
I'm jealous you can get it at Costco.. I have to drive an hour away to this little Amish general store because they "import" it when the migrant workers come up to work the fields. I have 2 bottles left..
It has different ingredients but I don't know if caffeine is a factor. Check the ingredients list as to what number ingredient caffeine is. If its one of the first ingredients it has more.
It doesn't say on the label because there's a cheesy one stuck on after the fact - it's not a requirement in Mexico so it's not on the bottle itself. It's #5 on the indredients list, bit the list on the Mexican coke is MUCH shorter than the one on american coke.
I guess I'll just make sure I only have one once in a while and call it good.

Cane sugar sweetener is used in the Mexican Coke versus the corn syrup sweetener used in the U.S., but other than that, it's pretty much the same.
I have Mexican cokes that I buy directly from Mexico, and those say that it has 41 mg of caffeine.
I'm talking about baby cokes, btw.
The regular sized can of coke from Mexico says it has 50mg.
Ok, so that is slightly more than regular coke, but not terrible. Thanks!
