Someone in 2nd tri was talking about maternity shorts and it made me think...?
I am soooo happy that most of my pregnancy has been throughout the winter. ?It's been so nice to just throw on jeans and sweater. ?I can't imagine having to wear tanktops and shorts while pregnant. ?Yuck. ?I like hiding under my bulky clothes.

Re: Spring/Summer Maternity Clothes
I prefer summer clothes. Dresses are the most comfortable for me. Pants are so much harder because I have to wear professional clothing for work, and I keep gaining some weight in my legs, so pants may not fit until I'm due! With dresses made of stretchy material, I only need to worry about the arms fitting. Plus, they just look more flattering on me anyway because they hide the new thigh bulges.
But, I do agree that I'm not loving tank tops right now. And I definitely won't be attempting shorts (I don't do shorts even when I'm in shape). I will do breezy skirts though.
And swimsuits are the devil right now. If anyone is looking, I just bought 2 bikini bottoms from Dicks Sporting Goods. They are Reebok (non-maternity, actually), and they have a skirt built on. But, it's not the bathing suit skirt 87 year old women wear, it's like a tennis skirt or a jogging skirt. It looks really sport and cute, and it hides the upper thighs/butt. I'd wear it even when I'm not pregnant.
