Anyone else bummed about not being able to do rollar coaster rides this year? In the great word of my friend Joey Tribiani from "friends" I love to ride that rail! lol I'm gonna miss it! Sad

i just had that convo today! my dh is having a company picnic at a little amusement park here in april. i had to break the news to him that roller coasters are a no no for pregnant ladies but ill be happy to eat tons of bbq with him:)

Two years in a row that I'm going to miss roller coasters. I actually started crying about it to my friend the other day. But in the end, it's not that important.

That reminds me, what is your ladies opinions on riding a bike? I will be in third rd tri this summer and I love riding my bike and I will be so sad if I can't. I think it will be fine if I just take it slow, but DH heard that it was dangerous -because of your balance being thrown off when you are pregnant and falling and whatnot.

haha so sorry but i get a really funny picture in my head when i imagine a very pregnant woman riding a bike! i would sugest dont fall off, but if you must dont land on your belly.

I will probably have DH pull me super slow on our tube, but I don't know that he will go for it oh well I still plan on going camping this summer.

LMAO, I'm laughing at the very pregnant woman on the bike!!! That, most definately, must be a funny sight.

I don't know I suppose if you bike all the time and it's not like you just hoped on a bike at 8 mo pregnant? Just not next to a street! My parents neighbor was riding his bike to work and somehow either got hit by a car, or fell off the bike and passed out. Someone found him on the side of the road. So sad. He is okay though!

Awh MAN, I didn't even THINK of the roller coaster ban. Sad

I am bummed that I cannot do rollercoasters, but that is not stopping me from going to Cedar Point for our annual trip. We will stay at Cedar Point's lighthouse point cottage or cabins, and serve up some bbq.... other people will drink, I will not. I will ride mild rides like sky ride, ferris wheel, merry go round, and maybe a few others. Too bad they tore out White Water Landing, that one would have probably been safe. This trip I will watch more live shows and just enjoy eating at little joints that i don't normally eat at. CP shall be looked at in a totally different way this year. While in the Sandusky area, I think I will go to downtown Sandusky or downtown Port Clinton, OH and see if there are any good specialty baby shops.

So very bummed!!! I have a feeling that this isn't going to be my most fun summer ever ... I will be umm 6 1/2 months pregnant and at youth summer camp. Texas heat in the middle of summer with a huge group of teenagers ... WOO HOO!!!!
