i've been so lazy latley. i don't remember the last time i cooked dinner unless you count stouffers dinners.? my poor dh is actually getting sick of fast food!?
I prefer homemade crap - mac and cheese, coconut shrimp and fries (tonight's dinner - totally from the freezer), frozen pizza.
Just as bad as fast food, but it's already paid for and I don't have to leave the house!

My diet would consist entirely of Nutty Bars if DH hadn't taken over the cooking. The only thing I have "cooked" this past month is a two-layer cinnamon swirl cake.
DH made the best jambalaya last night. We haven't come up with a name for it yet, because I don't think it technically actually qualifies as jambalaya, but whatever it is, it is delicious.
But he has been an absolute terror about junkfood. I get my weekly Chik-fil-a after my appointments but that's about all I'm allowed. He was super romantic last weekend and took me on a hand-held (so I wasn't handfree to pick up stuff) stroll down the ice cream aisle at the grocery store. Everything tasted great through the glass.
Right there with you. It was eggos for lunch for me...and dinner will be leftovers that I made on Sunday. I guess I "cooked" last night, spaghetti, whoopee.
I told my doctor that all I'm eating is crap in hopes of a pep-talk...but she said "You're doing fine, you're pregnant, it's OK"...yes, my doctor said that. How am I supposed to be motivated to eat better if even she is saying Taco Bell and ice cream is OK?
lately mine has too. DH is so concerned that I'm not getting the baby the nutrients she needs, but I do take a prenatal daily and I have some fruit and veggies, so the crappy dinner doesn't make me feel so bad.

I've done okay with dinners mostly because DD and DH need something better than total crap...so for right now, dinners are half crap and breakfast and lunch are total crap at best.
Yeah, I'm not doing so well on the veggies. Maybe I get enough protein. I eat a lot of cereal and pbj. I eat a lot of PBJ. I have gotten fairly virtuous and eliminated poptarts from my diet, only in the last two weeks. I was eating a lot of poptarts. Sigh. I am faithful with the prenatals, though. I wonder if the baby will end up as a junkfood junkie....
I love to cook, so we've been doing ok. I'll eat super healthy for 2 meals and then all of the sudden find myself eating handful after handful of jelly beans.
Everytime I go to my midwife she says "eat more veggies"! I have been trying so hard lately but yesterday I got informed that I was being "replaced" (not fired...even though it still means I'm out of a job...stupid politics) at my current job. Yeah tell the pregnant girl that's DH is laid off to go find something else because you want to cover your own job. GRRR...anyway, needless to say I've been eating CRAP for two days. Ice cream, coffee and pop (I think my baby got a buzz...sorry baby), and today the other female teachers and secretaries I work with brought in homemade baked goods and other yummies...yup yummy crap that's what I've been eating. I'm starting to feel sick just thinking about all the sugar though...I've been trying to aviod it so I think my body is regretting me eating it.
If they didn't make marshmallow mateys, I wouldn't have lived to see today. DH makes mac and cheese just about every day. I think the yellow dye #3 is going to kill us in the end.
I've cooked three times since I got preg, and I took pics of dinner every time. I needed the validation; and proof. Poor DH.
Re: anyone else's diet consist of nothing but crap?
Cooking....dinner? That sounds a like a very foreign concept to me! DH eats a lot of cereal and we also do a lot of chicken patties and fish sticks.
