This is my second child, my first just turned 1 year and I am 26 weeks along now. Last pregnancy, I developed pre-e around 33ish weeks and was induced at 38 weeks b/c of it. I remember having all of the symptoms, blurry vision, high bp and pain in my stomach, major swelling. Well the pain was in the upper right part of my stomach and it was so bad I could barely move at times. Shortly after having the baby, I discovered I needed to have my gal bladder removed, which they thought may have been causing the pain. Well, I've also heard of this pain being linked to pre-e and since I had my gal bladder removed it seems odd the pain would still be there. Anyone else experience anything like this pain and it turned out to be pre-e?
Re: Speaking of pre-e, anyone have it and have upper right quadrant pain in abdomen?
Considering your history, I would definitely call your doctor.
You definitely need to call your dr.
I had HELLP Syndrome with DS and had really intense pain that cover the entire top of my belly. But on the right side is your liver and that is a huge problem with HELLP. Mine didnt start until 37 weeks with DS, but I ended up with an immediate c/s.
Call your dr now, do not wait it can only get worse. I am so sorry!
