Hell no. I wouldn't even smack my niece and nephew's hand, much less spank them. Someone else's kid I'm not related to? Absolutely not. If someone spanked my kid I'd bring on the smack down.

No, even if for some reason I had permission I would not. I don't think it's appropriate to spank someone else's child.

No way!! It's not my place to spank someone else's kid or to discipline them at all for that matter. I've had to babysit many a demon child and I just had to keep it all inside.

If it was a child that I was around on a regular basis, like my nephew, yes I would and yes, I have. I am sorry, if you try to bite me and hit me and timeout and redirection doesn't work, he is going to get a swat on his behind that is padded by his diaper (he is 2 1/2 years old).

I keep extra kids during the day and I had one that was a pro spanker also. I was told that they do at home for so and so reasons (mostly danger situations) and that in these circumstances they would like me to keep up their enforcements. I only had to do it a handful of times and it was a quick little swat on the behind. But no way in helll unless it was that type situation. And if someone did my kid that way without asking I would flip out.

Just because i am okay with spanking (although that doesn't mean i will spank Ike because it depends on the child), doesn't mean the parents of the kids i watch are okay with it, so no, no way. Plus that could potentially be a major liability and lawsuit
