have you made the switch to anything else?  at 6 months we tried the good start natural cultures and it did NOT work.

pedi would like us to see if we can try again at 9 months.  we are thinking of try to introduce similac sensitive or enfamil gentleease.

anyone made the switch before moving to milk???  please give me your thoughts.

ETA: soy is not an option :(

Re: xp: former alimentum/nutrimagen users

  • My son is on Alimentum. Though I have not tried to reintroduce a regular milk formula, and probably wont at this point since he only has about 3 bottles a day, I have given him foods containing milk. He has pancakes, waffles, crackers, and other foods with milk as an ingredient and tolerates then well. I have not tried other dairy products yet. My pedi will do an allergy test at 12 months since he needs a routine blood draw anyway to see if he is still allergic. HTH!

  • we are so nervous about foods with dairy in them! ?ugh. ?it is frustrating.
  • DD was on nutramigen for reflux issues. At 5 months we tried the regular enfamil lipil (yellow can). SHe's actually spitting up less now.
  • We just switched from Alimentum to Similac Sensitive (combined them until we went through a can of each) and haven't had any issues at all.
