Child Birth Classes

They are what you make them is my new motto.

We went to our first one last night and my DH and I had a blast.  It was alot of information we had already read up on and some stuff we didn't know, but we had so much fun bonding and talking about the baby. 

There was a couple behind us and right from the beginning you could tell the father was going to be a huge assshat!  The instructor spent like 10 mins on where to go when you check in and where family can wait etc.  She said something about where they could get food and drinks and that is ALL the guy could focus on for the rest of the class.  When we had a break he turned to his SO and said "If you dragged me to these classes for 5 weeks and all I get out of it is where to get a bag of chips I'm leaving you".   UMMMMMM ok.

Anyway, we had fun and I like spending time with my hubs.  Good luck to those of you who are also partaking :)

    My DH and i were jokingly fighting in our class.  I think people kinda thought we were serious.  opps!  it was a rough Morning the day off and he wouldn't wake up so I started tracking points. he was at a negitive 5 when we got there...and we were joking about it. he would have made the chips comment that day. :)

    In our classes they make the guys wear the "empathy belly" suit that has boobs and everything. DH is not excited about this in the least, but the other 2 guys in the class were great sports about it. Other than that DH finds the classes a little boring (we've only had 2) because we know most of the info so far, but he hasn't complained. And she always has great snacks waiting for us during class - yum!

    Our classes start tonight. I am really excited, I hope they are worth the money.
