feeling drunk on progesterone?

I'm taking prometrium twice a day, morning and night.  The morning one makes me feel so drunk and I have to be at work in the morning.  I seriously thought I was slurring my speech and cross eye'd in my meeting this morning!  

Do you have this S/e and what do you do!  It only lasts about an hour or so but geez!

    yikes! my only suggestion is to take it as early as possible so it's safe for you to drive and go to work!

    I take provera.  However, the NP at my RE's office was saying that prometrium can make you feel really tired and loopy. I hope you feel better.

    are you taking it orally or vaginally?  i took it orally once and had severe dizziness.... switched to vaginally and no problems.

    I'm taking oral so maybe I should talk to my RE about switching to vag.  That's a good idea.
