So DH and I are about 95% sure we're not going to find out the sex of the baby beforehand, so I've been looking online for modern and neutral bedding sets. My favorite colors are blues and greens, so I've kind of fallen in love with the bedding set below. Do you think it's too "boyish" or could you see a girl in here too? TIA
Also, what websites did you go to for good nursery bedding ideas?

Re: Do you think this bedding is too "boyish"?
Because of the blue I think it leans towards boy. I really like it though! Nice colors.
I am not much help on inspiration since we decided to go with no bedding set. We also didn't find out the sex and truly neutral bedding was hard to find. I ended up going with the Winnie-the-pooh theme and just bought what I wanted instead of the whole bed set. It has actually worked out great!
Sorry, but yeah, I think it's more boyish. I think you can do blues/greens for a girl, just don't buy everything and if it's born & is a girl, get some girly colors to mix in (like blanket, crib sheet etc). I know I'm not much help, sorry - GL!
I just did pastels and think it's really gender neutral. I've since added in a pink blanket and can do a pink or purple sheet or sheer curtain underneath, here's a couple of picts from before she was born:
That is super cute, but yes it is boyish. I think with the brown being dark and the blue and green dark it is boyish. I love it though. DH and I also did not find out the sex of DS and it was hard finding bedding that is gender neutral. I love blue/green, but didn't want pink in there if we had a boy. Here is a pic of our bedding and now that we have a son I feel it is more boyish. For the next one we will not find out as well, but I will wait to the last minute and buy a girlie set that matches the walls in case we have a girl. If we don't i'll just return it.
I too think it is boyish, although it is so cute!!! Here is a neutral set from Wal-Mart of all places, that you could add, pink/purple for a girl or blue/green for a boy afterwards?

Or this one is cute too....

I think it's a little boyish too, but I do think you could add girlie touches if it ends up being a girl and make it work.
We didn't find out the gender before Justin was born and we aren't with the new one either. I found, after searching and searching and searching, that it is REALLY tough to find gender-neutral bedding that doesn't really lean boy. I think that's because you can always add feminine touches to something like you chose here, but you can't "un-feminize" bedding that's girly.
Baby SuperMall will let you filter your search to show you gender neutral stuff. Have you tried that? I also searched Walmart, Target, JCPenney, Baby Depot, and BRU. I think Bed, Bath & Beyond also carries baby bedding. I also loved looking at the site https://www.distinctivenurseries.com/, they have some unique stuff you don't see elsewhere. Also, just try googling "unisex" or "gender neutral" crib bedding, and you'll get lots of results. Ebay is also a good place to look - there are some sellers that will custom make sets and they are gorgeous.
Good luck!

I think it's too boyish also. I do like the one's from Walmart actually the Dani posted. Originally when we weren't going to find out what we were having we were going to go with Mod Pod Pop Monkey by Kids Line. It's green with browns in it, very cute, at least I think. https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3350189

I agree that the brown brings it into boy territory more so than the blue and green. We didn't know the gender and went with blue/green/yellow but we picked out fabric from the fabric store and my mom made the bedding. That gives you a ton more options and its unbelievable how much cheaper it is. Even if you paid a seamstress to make it (althought the patterns are very simple) it would still be cheaper. Our fabric is yellow, greeen, blue, white, and black graphic circles. Since we had a girl she has enough pink blankets and trinkets that the room still looks girly.
