Chesco daycares (sorry-last post)

Don't know if we are PG yet, but we figured that now is as good a time as any to check into daycare costs in the area.

Anyone have preferences for the big 3? ?Malvern School vs. Goddard vs. Montessori schools?

Ranges for childcare costs would also be appreciated. ?When we call, they want us to take a tour and won't tell us the cost up front.

    We use the Kindercare on Gerneral Warren Blvd. in Malvern. The infant room teachers are awesome!!! We love it there and I'll be so sad when my DS has to move to a different room. We pay $273 a week. Let me know if you tour there... they have some kind of deal going on that if you mention someone's name you both can get money off.

    That is right down the road from my office and DH's office campus! ?Perfect!

    Someone else mentioned the Great Valley Montessori behind the Wachovia bank at Rte 401 and Bus Rte. 30. ?Did you look there at all?

    Awesome- we're right on the boarder between W.C. and Exton.

    No, we never looked at the Montessori. We looked at Show N Tell, Warwick School, and a few others. I've heard good things about Tender Buds on Business 30. A friend of someone I work with owns it.

    <> We chose the Kindercare because we liked the facility and the teachers the best. Show N Tell had no security- they actually told us that they "know the faces of the parents" so they didn't need to lock the door. We just felt most comfortable at the Kindercare. They have a good curriculum and the people are great.
