Period-like cramping?

Just wondering, for how long after you got your BFP did you experience period-like cramping?  I know it's normal, but just wanted to see on average how long this lasted for.

Hi hun!  Yes it's definitely scary.  It's not painful cramping, but it feels like pushing and pulling sensation...I keep feeling like my period is about to show.  I hope it goes away soon too!

Yes I've read that some women have it for a few weeks.  It just makes me feel so uneasy.

  • Thanks for posting this, Gina!  You read my mind.  I know its normal but I have been worried all night... the cramping is scary!  I never had period cramps so I don't really have anything to compare this to.

Hey sweets!  Yea it's been bothering me and makes me feel so uneasy.  It feels like a pulling feeling and I'm so paranoid my period will show, but everywhere I keep reading it says it's normal.

Me too!  I have felt like that all day.  I remember reading posts about it before, and I know its normal, but its different when its actually happening to you!

  • It is completely normal and a good sign that your uterus is growing like it should.  I experienced cramping daily for the first 7 weeks or so.  I found that lying down with the Magic Bag (microwaved for 2 minutes) helped a lot.  From what I have heard/experienced, the discomfort can sometimes be caused by digestion as well... there are all sorts of different things going on with our bodies during pregnancy !
