What is happening to our world?
I have been in and out of the boards today, and I am deeply saddened by the lack of human decency and compassion displayed here. I have seen so many hurtful, unneccessary comments made. You're beating a dead horse, folks. Maybe it needs saying once, but don't repeat the hurtful comments. Let's just take a step back and remember the values we were raised with -- compassion, understanding, kindness. I promise it won't hurt.

I'm amazed at how someone can ask this of a bunch of strangers yet what you should be most indignant about is the fact that executives and bankers who are responsible for the mortgage crisis in America are now setting up new companies to buy up all the properties that all the compassionate and hardworking folks have lost to bankruptcy and foreclosure.....
If you are going to get all high and mighty and ride in on your horse - get upset about that.
Get upset that women are being raped and tortured as a weapon in civil wars across Africa.
Get upset that a week or two after beating his girlfriend's face to a pulp, Chris Brown is out jet-skiing and monkeying around in Miami.?
Get upset that the United States doesn't have paid maternity benefits or child care for their mothers and children like most other developed countries in the world do.
Get upset that you don't have universal healthcare like is afforded in the UK, Scandinavia and Canada.
Get upset that Jason is a douchebag and whored out his relationships on TV for financial gain for god's sake.?

I don't know what's worse - tree-hugging talk or this "love thy neighbor" crap. I agree with a lot of you...this is a public message board and we should all be free to express our opinions. For those of you who have a problem with the snarkiness or general sarcasm floating around, go find another group of wet bags to whine amongst.
Speaking of those Shamrock Shakes. I had heard about them and called my local McDonald's in search of them, but no one had them yet. I found a recipe on RecipeZaar.com that's just as good, but of course you have to make it at home. I've had the Shamrock Shake before, and this is a very, very close copycat.
