  By the time I tracked down all the ingredients, I'd probably spend as much as a full can of formula... a can that makes a LOT more than 36oz. Never mind the "weird" factor; who has the time for that?

  Just that chicken liver sounds disgusting!  I think Dr. Sears has a less icky goat's milk formula recipe on the website.

  People really make their own formula?  It's not that I don't care about what is going in to my child's body, but I don't have that kind of time!

  I think it's more about knowing what is going in to the formula and not the cost.  Some of those ingredients do seem they would be hard to track down.  Where is the HFCS?
