Green Tea = green pee

So it's official....the days I drink green tea (which is pretty much every day) my pee has a slightly green hue. It's so weird!!!

 At least I have a good party trick on St. Patrick's Day!! :D

    It must be the kind of green tea you're drinking. Mine hasn't done that from the few kinds I've tried so far or the pills I take. That is strange....

    wierd.  Mine never did that to me.  I tried a couple of different brands also...even the tea was never really green one brand had a very light green hue to it, but never discolored my urine.  Maybe it's your vitamins?  That makes my pee bright yellow.  Confused

    are you taking B vitamins (maybe B6 or extra from your PNV)?

    Greenish urine
    A urinary tract infection, bile problems and certain drugs can cause the urine to turn greenish. A brighter green color is an indication of an excess of B vitamins.

    I wonder if the brand you are drinking adds an artifical food coloring to make the tea (or leaves) look green. That could def. contribute to green pee. So weird, but it intrigues me.

    supposedly this tea is supposed to be "organic" and "all natural" so I don't think it has any artificial coloring...I'll have to check on that too!! :D

    So, if we're following that logic, then that would mean eating an orange makes our peepee orange?  I'm only being silly here.  I'm in a weird mood today.
