  • Mama, Dada, "Kih" (for kitty).  I also think he says hi and means what he says, but it's hard to tell.
  • ma ma, dada, sounds like we get a "hi" or "no" every now and then.

What?  Sorry, but that is lame.  Every baby is different.  I don't feel bad when everyone else talks about their 10 month old (and under) crawling and pulling up.  Get over yerself.

Arlo really didn't start saying things until he was about your DS's age, so really try not to fret about it, he will talk!!  One day you'll look back and think "what was I worried for?'  :)

  • Lucy says, Hi, dada, mama, dog, git (its what we well at the dogs), Zac (my brothers name), nana, and my latest fav, shiite, but its more like shi shi

  • Dada, Mama, bye, hi, up, cat, and our new favorite bad.  He will point to you with a very straight finger and say "bad".
  • Baba....she loves saying baba and she see's her baba and squeals and says baba sometimes bababa....and yesterday I was feeding her sweet potatoes, she looked at me & said mama and smiled & ate more sweet potatoes. Melted my heart!!!! I don't know if she realized what she said or if she was making small talk, she says "mmmmm" after every bite...so who knows, but the timing was adorable. She hasn't said it again.

  • Possibly "No".  I'm not certain about that.  He says mamamamama and dadadadada but does it randomly.
