Nursery water: when did you stop using it?

Hi,

we use powder milk and add nursery water, we were wondering when did you stop using it and what did you give? Filtered? Bottled?

We never used it - I just boil a gallon or so every few days and fill a water jug.

I use warm water right from the tap.

I used bottled water up until 8 months, b/c of fluorosis. We have flouride in our drinking water. My Dr. has told me to use boiled tap water now. I am still a bit unsure b/c if you read some articles they recommend no flouride until the baby is over 12 months.

Nursery water has to be the biggest scam I've ever seen in the baby business. But it cracks me up and I am totally jealous of the inventors. They have to be rich.

We've always used distilled water. I am going to change to boiled tap water when DD turns 9 months.
