41 wks and still here!

I'm officially 1 week over due! ICK!! I don't wish this on anyone....I had contrax on sunday into monday that were about 20 minutes apart and hopeful that it was it....but obviously it wasn't. They started to space out more on monday night and yesterday they were about 45 min apart, and now today, about an hour....so unfortunately they are going the wrong way. I've just come to terms with the fact that I prolly won't have this baby until they induce on monday.

I have an u/s on friday and another dr appt. I'm going to ask him to strip my membranes at that time, hopefully that will get things moving, cause all those old wives tales haven't been helping.

Awww, I delivered my dd at 41 wks, but I didn't mind too much. In fact, this time around I was sad to hear I'd have to go a week early, but now that it's close, I'm really sooo ready, physically. It sounds like you're feeling more like that, poor thing, I hope you're not too miserable.

Hang in there, it really won't be much longer now, Monday is just around the corner (but who knows, you could still go sooner, too). Lots of labor dust to you!!!

I know just how you are feeling. DD was 6 days late and that last week was really excruciating. We had an induction date set but lo and behold the little missy showed up ON HER OWN! Don't lose hope. Hang in there. Can't wait to see you over on PAL very very soon!!!
