New mom in Peoria

Hi I am new to this board and had my first baby girl December 3. ?My boyfriend and I moved here from Colorado so I really don't know that many people, especially anyone with little children. ?I was wondering if anyone knew about play dates or other things around so I can meet other moms with children my daughters age.

    i'm in peoria.  my ds is 3 and dd will be here in the next couple of weeks.  i dont know of any playdates but there's no reason we can't start our own!

    I haven't had my twins yet, but my friend goes to Stroller Strides. It is an exercise group that meets at a park in Peoria. The one on thunderbird with the community center. She has met great friends and really enjoys it. They have play groups and all sorts of activities. I think they have a website. Good luck!
