Has anyone flown NWA with a carseat?

We are flying on Monday to Cancun. At our playdate today, a couple of the parents mentioned that they remember that they had to have a carseat for their DC. I have not heard of this. I went to their website and it says you can bring a carseat, but it doesn't say it is necessary. I'm not sure if they flew with Northwest or not.

I'm going to call our travel agent in the morning, but was hoping someone here knew if this was true or not

Re: Has anyone flown NWA with a carseat?

  • I don't think on any airline you HAVE to bring a carseat but you can.  We just flew with DS and brought the carseat.  He sat in it the whole 3 1/2 hrs because he knew he had to.  there was no getting up and wanting to sit with one of us... When we do it again, I will be sure to bring it!  What are you doing about a carseat in Cancun?
  • Loading the player...
  • We are going to be on a bus and just buckle her in. She won't leave the resort after that.

  • Some flights that leave the us make you use a car seat if you bought a seat for the child.  It is safer to us a car seat on the plane.  Call nw and ask them what they do.
