I don't have one and I'm not flaming anyone for buying one.....BUT if it's plastic and has a squeaker isn't it just a dog toy marketed as an expensive chew toy for kids?
Yes, I'm pretty sure it is an expensive dog toy from France. On a side note, I just opened it today and DD lost her mind. She was giggling and smiling and "talking" to a rubber giraffe. I have no idea why it's so appealing...however, she is a huge fan. I may have to tape it so I can show it to her after the dogs eat it.
I'm not 100% why Sophie is so loved. We got Sophie as a gift from a friend in Germany. DD loved her so much that when we lost her, I bought another to replace. I got one from my best friend's daughter, who loves Sophie too. Come and find out that we lost our 1st Sophie at a friend's house and her kids love Sophie now too because they have been playing her DD's 1st Sophie.
Re: Sophie ?
Actually it's a soft, natural rubber made from a rare tree sap......
::sighs as I try to justify spending $20 on Sophie. Then looking down at my siggy and seeing how happy that squeaky giraffe makes Heidi::

The only reason I don't have one is the fear that I'll spend $20 to watch my DD cry while my dog eats it.
