Pineapple

I just bought some frozen pineapple chunks for DD. Would you put them as is in the teething feeder or should I steam them and make a chunky puree? I'm not sure if pineapple needs to be cooked before feeding to DD.

    I give DS crushed pineapple right out of the can nearly every day.  He LOVES it and it does wonders for constipation :-)
