WTEFY says that by seven months most babies can feed themselves a cracker. I think my DS is probably ready to try eating a cracker, but I have no idea what kind to offer him. Added complication - I was allergic to wheat as a baby so we're waiting until one year to introduce any wheat.
Suggestions? We've tried rice cakes and those are going okay.
Re: "Feed self a cracker..." ?
I think that probably just means they can bring something to their mouth, open & chew. Try a bitter bisquit or other teething thing, like mum mum, doesn't have to be a triscuit or anything.
