Since I'm sick of chicken and can only eat so much peanut butter, I was wondering what creative and yummy ways you've found to get your protein! Thanks ladies and good morning BTW!!
Cheese/Dairy... but if you like cottage cheese I would do that. It has lots of protien. I like cottage cheese and you can add different fruits with it and crackers to change it up, but best of all lots of protien.
DH puts a meat or fish in every dinner we have. I drink a half glass of milk every night. I have nuts or something with peanut butter every day. Cheese is a good one... I should do that more often.
...and I make cookies pretty regularly, and usually put nuts in them. That counts, right?
I'm not a big meat eater, especially at lunchtime, but I love hummus with pita bread or a homemade bean burrito with reduced fat refried beans, cheese, salsa and a tortilla. Any type of beans also work - sprinkle them on salads or in Mexican dishes.
Good luck! Chicken can get untasty -- really fast!
Ditto on cheese and nuts. I also try to get in some extra by getting oatmeal, granola bars, etc. with extra protein (check the Kashi brands). And the Special K protein snack bars are great - the chocolate peanut ones taste like a candy bar.
Bacon, egg and cheese biscuits haha they're the only thing that calm my stomach in the morning, and they have a ton of protein (and calories, but let's save that convo for another day)!

Cheese and Eggs are my two favorite things right now. I have not been able to eat much meat this whole pregnancy so I have been relying on those two and Peanut Butter.
Since I'm a vegetarian I get it in a lot of different ways...tofu, nuts (especially almonds), peanut butter, almond butter, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, beans...

Ditto. Freestanding meat is not my friend.
