Emily will be 2 in May. Will it look funky for an older toddler to wear a bubble-romper? I just adore them--so sweet and babyish. I don't want her to look silly, though. Also, what about those Carter's sunsuit rompers? Is two too old for those?
Evelyn-Mommy to Ben 9.20.05 and Emily 5.14.07 and Callie 7.10.09!
DD lived in those all last summer, but for me 18 mos was the cutoff. She lost all her fat baby legs around then and the rompers started looking weird and really short with her new long legs. But that's just me!

I do think girls can pull it off longer than boys, but I know I didn't put DS in any the summer her was 21-15 months old. He was a lean baby, with long legs and a mouthful of teeth- he would have looked strange.
I would have loved another season with rompers. I don't like the trend toward dressing babies and toddlers as little adults. I figure it's rushing childhood. Nothing turns me off like someone whose not old enough to sit up yet wearing a necktie and vest. It just creeps me out.
Oooohhh, I LOVE bubbles and rompers! I think it really depends on the child. If they have thin toddler legs, bubbles look like Baby Hughie. But if they still have the rolls, go for it.
The Carter's sunsuits and rompers can go a little further I think- definitely past two.

I think it really depends on the fit and cut.
DD will be 2 this month and I have made her a ton of rompers and bubbles for the summer.
they all are like this but in girlie fabrics.
I love rompers!!!
ditto everything..
also I effing hate the term "little man"......
