NBR: Lost our cat

We found our cat Jake under our bed completely out of it Thursday night and took him to the emergency vet. He was transferred to our normal vet yesterday morning and they had no idea what was wrong with him. His kidneys began shutting down and he had extremely high sodium levels. He continued getting worse and started having seizures so we had to put him to sleep. I am so upset! He just got really sick really fast and we have no idea why!
Allie ~ 01/26/09 ~ 7 lbs, 9 oz ~ 20.75 in.
& Amelia ~ 03/16/11 ~ 8 lbs, 1 oz ~ 21 in.

your baby is beautiful
He would have been 4 years old in May. His young age makes it even more confusing. My poor other kitty is so sad and keeps following me around meowing. She is younger than him and doesn't know what it is like to not have him around. Here they are together with their Christmas present. Jake was the black kitty.
That is horrible and so sudden.... I am so sorry for your loss : (
But, on a happy note, I have to say, I LOVE your new siggy pic of Allie - she is a doll!
