Things have seriously slowed down...

Anyone else feel like the 2nd tri is just dragging by?  Maybe it's just because I don't really have much more to look forward to until the baby shower and actual birth.  I guess there were a lot more super exciting milestones early on.  Now I just sit around and wait and I feel like it's totally dragging by!!!

    Yes!  Well, I have big u/s on Friday so I still have something to look forward to, but come Friday afternoon, I'm sure it will be dragging!

    Trying for #2 since July 2010
    BFP 8/1/10, missed m/c, D&C 9/15/10.
    BFP 1/8/11, chemical pregnancy.
    BFP 3/4/11, measured behind all along, no more HB 4/18/11. D&C 4/29/11. HCG didn't drop, Repeat D&C 6/17/11; confirmed molar pregnancy 6/23/11.
    Forced break, including two Hysteroscopies in October to remove retained tissue.
    BFP 12/29/11! Betas @ 10 dpo = 85, 14 dpo= 498, 22 dpo = 7242
    Heard HB 1/24/12. 144 bpm!

    Luca Rose born 9/9/12! More than worth the wait!

    No, not really. This pregnancy has gone really fast. I have so much to do and not enough time to do it in.

    Yeah it does feel like it's slowed down, but on the other hand, i'm just trying to enjoy everyday.

    Yes and no. There are some days that I feel like it is just dragging by, but then other days were I feel like it is just flying by and I still have so much stuff to do and get done.?

    Everything has FLOWN by for me. It seems like just yesterday I was finding out I was pregnant. Maybe it's because this is our first so we are starting from scratch with getting things, so that's taking up a lot of time. Plus, we've taken a few trips and have had so many holidays that before we knew it, it was March already.

    It's dragging for me too.  It is a very uneventful trimester!  But DH and I will be moving in 3rd tri and then doing all our nursery planning and shopping and such then, so I'm going to miss the slowness then!  I would do some of it now but we just don't have the room for any extra stuff right now.

    I feel like the weeks are flying but we have so much work around the house to do. Every weekend that passes means we have one less to get work done. I cannot believe I only have 1 month of 2nd tri left. I am nervous about 3rd tri, nervous about getting really huge and really uncomfortable and nervous about l&d. I could stay in 2nd tri for a long time :)

    Yes and no.  Even though I just had a huge milestone (we found out the sex last week), 2nd tri does seem like it's going slower than 1st tri.  Maybe because you aren't even really pregnant for the first 2 weeks of first tri?

    But then I just read PP's comment that she only had a month left in 2nd tri...and she's only 2 weeks ahead of me.  Which means I only have 6 weeks until the 3rd tri.  Holy cow.  That makes it seem like things are going quickly -- especially since I have basically done nothing for the nursery or anything yet!

    Last night DH finally felt her move!  Now though I feel that its a waiting game until 3rd Tri- when I'm going to start ordering baby stuff and preparing to leave work for good (eeek!).  Even though part of me feels its dragging, at the same time I'm enjoying bonding with her while I'm still enjoying being pg (I understand that in 3rd it gets uncomfortable) Cool

    Yeah, I am right there with you. I have finally gotten huge, and my feet and ankles are swelling so much they are bruising. I don't know if it is the twins or what, but I can't imagin what 3rd tri will be like. It's def draggin though.
