5 baby showers! Ugg....

I was hoping to keep these to a minimum...  But It doesn't look like that is going to be an option. 

Baby shower #1: DH's family and local family friends (I STILL don't know all the people we are planning on inviting!  DH's dad and step-mom have a ton of friends whom I have met, but DH thinks they should be invited.  I couldn't pick them out of a croud...  So how am I going to thank these people if they attend?  At least at my bridal shower DH's sister handed me the gifts and under her breath wispered to me where everybidy was sitting!  Not sure if the same set up would work for this though.  At least I've pretty much learned DH's family (even though we see some of them only a few times a year!))

Baby showe r#2: A friends shower.  (I was hoping to combine shower 1 and 2 and not invite so many family/family friends but now I think I am going to have to split the two  Grr.)

Baby shower #3: daiper keg (not really a shower and it's more for the guys to have fun at and not many present, much more of an excuse to have a party!)

Baby shower #3: Work and friends from a previous job (small shower, thank goodness)

Baby shower #5: impromptu shower/brunch after my sister wedding in May (after sister flight takes off for their honeymoon of course) for my family who lives in NY

Holy Cow!!!!  That's MORE baby showers than bridal showers....  I guess I can look at it like the more people the less stuff we have to buy, but good Lord that's a lot Indifferent

    That is frustrating that you couldn't combine any of them but it looks like you have a lot of people that love you and are excited to celebrate your baby. Look at it this way.....you now have a lot of weekends to look forward to that will make weeks fly by!

    I would be glad to get the gifts! I know it would be tiring after awhile, but I had to fight to keep my 2 showers from turning into one ginormous one. With my rib & back pain, I can't sit still for long, so multiple small showers sounds awesome!
