Agreed.
Unwanted and unsolicited contact from people on the interwebz (espesh when you did NOT provide them with your contact information) is more illegal when there are threats involved.
And since we know who's up to what....
Perhaps this is why my local law enforcement has been ignoring my calls....

I run a design forum. True Story. My bf who is a member and I have been long since plagued by one individual, one SAD SORRY individual who created Alias after Alias, tried to use a proxxy server to block her IP and even went so far as to change IP providers to switch up her IP. We would let the new alias play along until she would betray herself and slip into her old patterns. TEXT BOOK. Anyway, one day my bf was admitted to hospital in her home province which is out west and very much away from me in Ontario and the crazy Alias in Quebec. Now it was a sudden and life threatening illness that landed her in the hospital and the surprise of it and seriousness of it had her asking me to post a little update on the forum so others wouldn't worry. I did so. Stalker chick contacted the hospital and discovered a service whereby you could email patients get well messages and she did so. She used a fake name of a former forum member so we knew it was her right away. She even went so far as to send my bf candies to her hospital room.
You can imagine her surprise when my bf, a lawyer, contacted the police in her hometown and they in turn contacted said stalker by phone, with my bf present (she had used her CC to send the candies and all the information was provided to the police courtesy of the shop that sold the candies as part of a criminal investigation - they were required to share the info). She initially tried to lie and say her CC was stolen.... so for added measure, the police out west contacted the police in her town in Quebec and had them pay a little visit.
We've never had an issue since.

To whoever is stalking whomever: Seriously? ?Seriously, do you have to be juvenile? ?As a victim of stalking IRL, it is not as funny as you think it is, and oh yes, you can and will get put away. ?Just ask my ex-boyfriend.

I just wanted to let y'all know that I have connections to the mob (NOT THAT IT EXISTS BECAUSE IT TOTALLY DOESN'T).
Dead giveaway when they start emailing you and your DH outside of the boards.

How thef uck does someone get your email? Or your H? I'm not really looking for the answer, but..... no one can just get our emails easily through the bump, right??
