My mini-dachschund had back surgery on the 17th and came home this week. He is walking around on shaky legs, but they expect him to fully recover. Since his surgery cost 3K we have to wait and save up again before we accept another match.
So here we are, waiting again. On March 17th we will have been with our agency for a year. DH and I are going to "officially" start TTC again this month. We haven't TTC since December 07. I asked him if he would be willing to give it one more try. We will probably do it for 6-12 months or until we are matched again. I'm not even sure if my Endometriosis is back or if I'm still cleared out from the Lap.
Well that's what is going on with us. I haven't really had much to say since our failed match. I've been lurking mostly. Just letting ya'll know I'm still here.

Welcome back. I'm glad you at least have a plan. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your dog!
Welcome back. Hope that your dog recovers quickly. On the baby note I hope that everything works out for you.

I hope your dog recovers as well!! I wish you luck on your adoption process!! I know its a hard one, im an adult adoptee and have two younger adopted siblings (they are 4- and 6 years younger than me) my parents had a few failed placements between all of us.
