I know I might get flamed for this, but I figure you ladies sound like a good group to ask:
Based on pinklady's post below, do any of you have a favorite toy? Or a recommendation for a beginner? I've never had one but have been thinking about getting one lately, but got overwhelmed when I went to look. Help! TIA ladies!

have you looked at online sites? to see whats out there? they have "variety" kits (bought one for a friends shower, like $40)

No kidding. The only reason I didn't stay there is because I ended up as the manager, made crappy money, and wasn't allowed to hire more than three people to work. The store was open twenty-four hours, so I would have to work the register, do inventory, paperwork, and all the other fun stuff that came alone with it. One day two people didn't come into work, so I was there for twenty-four hours straight. That's when the district manager said I couldn't get overtime anymore. Chyeah, bye bye porn discount.
Before that, though: best. job. ever. So much fun.

but yeah I had a relative who worked at one that was 24hrs and had the peep booth in tha back ..... yeah they complained about the floors .... enough said! hahaha but still funny!

We didn't have a peep booth or anything. We sold/rented DVDs and had a ton of toys. It surprised me the number of people who would come in to buy something and immediately tell me it was a gag gift for someone else. Riiiiight.
I also recommend the rabbit! DH bought it for me for Christmas and I am in love. Also, DH works out of town 4-5 days/week so it comes in handy! However, I do recommend that if you are going to get a vibrator, get one with variable speeds so that you can slow it down at first until you get used to it. But, once you do, it's game on! Also, if the buzzing is distracting (said in pp) pop in a porno and you won't even notice all the other sounds!
