I know most people do but my betas were off to a slow start so I'm afraid we won't see a heartbeat at my first u/s tomorrow and then I'll be all stressed out and worried again. I'm finally starting to relax and feel like I'm really pg. My first beta at 17dpo (14dp3dt) was only 76, beta 48 hours later was 117 and beta 3 finally doubled and was 246. But 246 at exactly 5 weeks is so low compared to everyone else. Does that mean that my baby is growing slower and I won't see a hb tomorrow? Does that mean I don't have a baby at all? I'm so freaked out that we have a blighted ovum or won't even see anything. DH is being very positive and still hoping for twins but I'm almost sure we will be lucky to even have one since my betas were so low. Do my low betas mean a later heartbeat?

Re: Will I see a heartbeat at 6w3d?
Hopefully you'll see a heartbeat tomorrow and all this worry will be for naught! I know sometimes the sac is on the smaller side and you don't see a heartbeat this early, so just hang in there either way. As long as the sac is in the right place, you should be on the right track.
Good luck--I'll be thinking of you tomorrow!

I can give you my story which is somewhat similar? My first beta was 16.2. 48 hours later, it doubled to 35. They didn't have me do #3 until 5 days later and it was 401.5 at that time. And they think it was simply because I had a late implanter.
I had my first u/s at 5w4d and all I saw was a gestational sac and a yolk sac. Then at my next u/s, at 6w4d, we did, in fact, see a heartbeat - beating at 116 bpm.
While every case is different, I am going to say I think you have a pretty good chance of seeing a heartbeat. Good luck!
