Babies: 0 - 3 Months

2 months is too early for teething, right?

Our little one has been really grumpy lately, and chewing her fists CONSTANTLY and drooling a lot ... which I thought were all signs of teething, but isn't it way too early?   She's just barely two months old!

  • early, but not impossible! DD started at 8 weeks - our doc can see 2 pearly white cysts under her lower gums

doctor said she probably wouldn't cut a tooth for another month or two, though.

  • Julia started this last week as did C at this same age, C cut her first 2 teeth at 5m exaclty.

The drool will get SO much worse.

  • Every baby is different. Some have teeth come in very early and others are almost a year old. Rub her gums with your finger and see if you feel any near eruptions.
  • Colt cut his first tooth at 2 weeks. but that's pretty rare.. his 2nd tooth came at 3 months. He's starting his 3rd already...

  • DD discovered her hands around two months and they were and still are constantly in her mouth. But she still has no tooth so I dont think that meant she was teething...but it's not impossible
  • I think F is starting to teeth as well. he's a drooler and is chomping on his hands constantly. I gave him a teething ring and he went at it. Im going to ask my doc on thurs.
