Do you do it? I keep reading it can expose you to infection and it shouldn't be done.. but it doesnt seem to me tht sex is that much safer...??

    I would check it the first few days after ovulation.  I was told as long as you wash your hands before checking and try to urinate shortly after, you shouldn't have any problems with infection.

    I kept checking mine out of habit, but I should stop. Hearing that it might cause infection is enough reason for me.
